Joe Klein is simply a "mountain goat." His lightweight enables him to go uphill at an amazing rate. He welcomes the dizzying heights most dread. He loves to test his climbing abilities at the Fort Davis Stage Race where he usually finishes top 10 overall. Joe has shown that he is warming up to the flats by being a consistent top 15 finisher at the Wednesday Night Criterium series. Joe competed on a national level riding such races as the Tour of the Gila and Another Dam Race. In 2001, Joe won a Bronze medal in the State Track Cycling Championships in the Kilometer and earned his first State Title in the Team Pursuit. His goals include upgrading to a category 2 and racing the national racing circuit where he surely will be a consistent finisher.
